I had this problem too, and I submitted a ticket, got a response today and it actually worked.

Once a solution has been announced, opt into the Steam client beta to get the fix. We are releasing regular feature updates and fixes via the Steam Client Beta, so please be sure to watch for a beta fix announcement. We apologize for the inconvenience this has caused. We were able to reproduce the same issue in our testing environment and have forwarded your report to the development team for review. `Message from Steam Support on Oct 13 10:15am | 5 hours ago Hi there, Windows 11 Final builds started pushing out on October 5. I have posts going on the Valve forums and on Reddit and others are experiencing the same issue. The same "Unsupported" indication is shown on the Steam Link app on my Android TV but I can still connect to the host and stream with it. I attempted to re-pair the unit and the Windows 11 Final based host cannot be "seen" by the Steam Link unit. With the release of the official final build of Windows 11, Steam Link began to show my host computer as "Unsupported" on the main screen and would not connect to it. Message from you on Oct 10 11:28pm | 2 days ago I've been running Windows 10 and subsequently Windows 11 Beta insider build on my host computer to stream games.
